Super Husband rocks!

Just a quick note after my swim…
Today was another very warm day. After a refreshing – albeit tough – masters swim (including IM intervals), Super Husband came to the rescue. As soon as I got home he greeted me with hugs, kisses – and went to get our dinner…. Yummy, chilled sushi! [...]

Why I Tri…

The past few weeks I’ve been really thinking about this statement. It started when Danskin asked us to write a short essay on “Why I Tri” for the upcoming race. I was actually at a loss for words (I know, impossible as that sounds…).

After she [...]

Less than one week before my first Tri of the season: Irongirl Las Vegas. This will also be my first Olympic / International Distance (0.9 mile swim / 25 mile bike / 10k run). I am very excited and ready to go – and at the same time, nervous to see open water [...]

I am the Human Barometer

The past couple days my head felt as though it was locked in a vice. My cheek bones ached, my eyes felt as though they were popping out of my head. Ugh. This usually happens when there is a drastic change in weather.
It rained today.
I think I should become a meteorologist instead.
